House Bill 173: Entities providing behind-the-meter utility services

Summary: Exempts persons or businesses who install behind-the-meter services from regulation as a public utility, among other things.

House Bill 265: Regulate resellers of public utility services as public utilities

Status: Introduced in the Ohio House

Summary: Broadens the definition of public utility to include entities that resell public utility services through the specific inclusion of submetering companies.
